Violet Angie Bonnett, 76 years old, of Highlands, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at her residence with her family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Highlands under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton.

Violet was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Nellie Drace Booth; sister, Leona Amburn; brother. Joe Booth; stepsister, Elisie Poole.

Violet loved sewing and collectables.

Violet is survived by her husband of 52 years, Charles "Chuck" Bonnett; daughters, Dorothy "Dottie" Lynn Choate, Linda Marie Collins and husband Robert, Betty Jean Woods, Mary Wilson; son, Charles Hosea; brother, Johnny Booth; 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson; and a host of other family and friends.
