Stanley Terry, 86 of East Purdy was called home to Heaven on Monday November 14, 2022 at his home in East Purdy surrounded by family. He was born in Monett, Missouri on January 24, 1936; the son of the late Elburn and Alma (Henson) Terry. He was united in marriage on May 30, 1958 in Purdy Missouri.
He was a retired dairy farmer and became a day trader after retiring from farming. He served as the mayor of East Purdy for many years and was a member of the Arnhart Baptist Church in East Purdy, Missouri.
Stanley is survived by his wife; one daughter; one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Stanley is being held on Sunday November 20, 2022 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Chapel in Monett, Missouri. Celebration of life services are being held on Monday November 21, 2022 at 10:30a.m. at the Arnhart Baptist Church in East Purdy, Missouri with Rev. Jason Mackey officiating. Burial will follow services at the Arnhart Cemetery.
