YORK Austin Scott Zumbrum, 60, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at his residence. Born June 10, 1947, in York, he was the son of the late Austin C. and Mary I. (Dahoff) Zumbrum. He was an engineer working as an independent contractor for local businesses and was an active member of Saint John Lutheran Church, York. Mr. Zumbrum is survived by a son, Austin H. Zumbrum of Pennsylvania. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 24, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Saint John Lutheran Church, 2580 Mount Rose Ave., York, with the Rev. Patrick J. Cox officiating. Burial will be in Salem Union Cemetery, Jacobus. A visitation will be held Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association Great Rivers Affiliate, 140 Roosevelt Ave., Suite 208, York, PA 17401.
