Sylvia R. Hosey, 55, was called to join our Lord on November 13, 2021. She was born on March 19, 1966 in Sinton, Texas to Toribio Rodriguez, Sr. and Hortencia Flores Rodriguez. She was employed with Robert Driscoll Middle School in the nursing department. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father, Toribio Rodriguez, Sr., her son, Patrick States and her brother Guadalupe Rodriguez.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories to her husband, Kenneth Lee Hosey, Sr.; her children, Kenneth Lee Hosey, Jr., Kasey Tobi Clarence Hosey (Brianna Nicole Bosquez); her siblings, Toribio Rodriguez, Jr., Rebecca (Wayne) Averett, Rogelio (Norma) Rodriguez, Rene (Olivia) Rodriguez, Beatriz (Samuel) Cedillo and Leticia (Lucio) Perez. She was also loved and adored by her nine grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7pm on Sunday, November 20, 2021 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Monday, November 21, 2021 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
