Age 94, son of the late Ralph H. and Margaret M. Greiner Jenkins. Bob graduated from Academy High School and Gannon College. He served his country as a Sergeant with the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked for 29 years at Weil-McLain, 9 years at Erie Bronze and Aluminum, and retired as a Foundry Manager for Burnham Corp. in Zanesville, Ohio. Bob was a very active member at St. Luke's Church, volunteering as an usher, and for the Finance Council, Parish Council and Food Pantry. He was a lifetime member at Erie Maennerchor, and was a long-time duck pin bowler. He loved boating, and was a Board Member at Presque Isle Yacht Club. He also served the community as a Red Cross volunteer.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by an infant son Richard C. Jenkins; two siblings, Ralph Jenkins and Marion Sanner.
Survivors include his wife of 73 years, Mildred M. "Sis" Schaaf Jenkins; three children: Mary Margaret Edmiston (Dennis), Beverly Parks, and Charles "Chuck" Jenkins (Lisa); eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
