Barbara Louise Helm Brondum, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2022. She was born in Augusta, Georgia on January 16, 1931.

Barbara is now joined together again with her loving husband of 63 years, Joseph Edward Brondum. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Reuben Allen Helm and Louise Gladyes Ehlers Helm, and two sons-in-law, Joey Eugene Norman and Paul Scott Breckenridge.

She is survived by her two daughters, Maureen (Paul) Breckenridge of Lynn Haven, FL and Catherine (Joey) Norman of Pascagoula, MS; grandchildren, Kellie (Todd) Davis of Pascagoula, MS, Heather (Brandon) Boyd of Hurley, MS, Timothy (Jackie) Breckenridge of Lynn Haven, FL, Natalie (Kristian) Richbourg of Lynn Haven, FL, and Haley (Nick) Bosco of Pascagoula, MS; and sister-in-law, Irma (Louis) Stiglet; along with numerous nephews, nieces and great grandchildren.

Shortly after graduating from Pascagoula High School, Barbara spent her time caring for her family. Though she was a busy house wife, she never failed to support her husband, Ed, in running their successful business.

Barbara's hobbies included traveling the country in her motor home with her husband and trusty companion, Buster. While home from traveling they enjoyed meeting with The RV Good Sam's Club, which she was a lifetime member of. When the weather was just right, they enjoyed taking the boat out to the islands, crabbing off their pier and of course fishing for dinner. The best memories were made poolside entertaining her children and grandchildren.

Mass of a Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 beginning at 12 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Entombment will conclude at Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.

Barbara was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gautier. She adored her church and church family, so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gautier, MS in her loving memory.
