CAMDEN - Horace Bogue, 79, died August 28, 2017.

Dea. Bogue joined New Sawyers Creek Church and was a longtime, faithful member of the Sunday School and the Men's Chorus. He also served as Chairman and Vice-Chair of the Board of Deacons.

The son of the late Eugene Bogue, Sr. and the late Lovie Odell Bogue, Dea. Bogue is survived by his wife, Leverne Bogue; an aunt, Eugenia Godfrey; an uncle, Herbert Griffin; six sisters, Joyce Bogue, Julie Williams, Ophelia Seymore (Michael), Louise Freeman (Carlton), Barbara Bogue and Lovie Mercer; four brothers, Eugene Bogue, Jr., William Bogue, Larry Bogue (Regina) and Charles Bogue; six grandchildren, Seth Evans, Ezeekiel Estime, Zayna Estime, Brady Bogue, Berlie Bogue and Doris Henderson; and a host of relatives, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by siblings Julius Bogue, Claywood Bogue, Gloria Butts, Tericer Bogue, and Clarence Winslow.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 at New Sawyers Creek Church at 1 p.m. with Rev. Robert Aydlett, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be Friday, September 1, 2017 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Family will be receiving friends in the lobby.
