OBITUARY FOR LINDA LOU COOK NEWELL
Linda Lou Newell, 67 of Charles Town passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 in the Shenandoah Center.
Born July 24, 1955 in Charles Town she was the daughter of the late Eugene Franklin Cook, Sr. and Bessie Virginia Carter Cook.
She was of Baptist Faith. Linda worked as a caregiver.
She is survived by son, Clarence Cook, brothers, Roger, Nathan and Clyde Cook and Wendell and Eric Carr, sisters, Debra and Blanch Cook and Beth Brown, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, aunts, Eleanor Gooch and husband Glenn and Sylvia Harmon and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Dwayne Wallace Cook, brothers, Eugene F. Cook, Jr., Charles Cook, Sr. and Thomas Brown, sisters, Helen Robinson, Darlene Foflygen and Sandra Robinson.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
