Alan Ralph Carrington, 59, of Stuarts Draft, Va., died Monday (July 8, 2002). Alan was born September 22, 1942 in Baldwinsville where he lived most of his life before moving to Stuarts Draft, VA three years ago. He was the son of Ralph M. and Helen Mae Coates Carrington. He graduated from Baker High School. He was a truck driver for 28 years with Stroehman Bakery, Syracuse. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Stuarts Draft, VA. He was a Marine Corps veteran.

Survivors: His wife, the former Kay J. Klock; two sons, Sean M. of Midlothian, Va., and Troy A. of Manchester, Md.; six sisters, Virginia Benedict, Helen Falardeau and Carol Dorr, all of Baldwinsville, Patricia Duger of Jordan, Nancy Gates of Redwood and Lynda Carrington of Georgia; three brothers, Donald of Syracuse, David of Brewerton and Michael; four grandchildren.

Services and burial: A service will be conducted 10:00A.M. Friday at Calvary United Methodist Church by the Rev. Walter B. Failes Jr. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Thursday at Reynolds Funeral Service of Stuarts Draft, VA. Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville, has local arrangements.
