Addie Ramona Samples went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 2, 2022, passing away suddenly at age 89. She was an incredible loving mother and grandmother who was a constant source of inspiration and strength for her family and friends. Her memory will be forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew her. She is preceded in death by husband Gordon Lee Samples, parents Joseph Monroe Arbogast and Verba Gladys Samples Arbogast, sister Anna May Arbogast Adams, and daughter Betsy Lynn Samples Stephenson. Ramona is survived by daughters Nancy Ann Samples of Procious and Mary Louise Samples of Belle, brother Oliver Wendell Arbogast, Sr., of Elkview, grandsons Matthew Gordon Stephenson of Dunbar (Marjorie Faye Estep) and Jeremy Scott Samples of Procious, as well as numerous nephews and nieces, and two great grandchildren. Visitations will be held at Wilson Funeral Home of Clay on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 12 noon, with services to follow at 1 pm.
