Marion Ray Lacy passed away from complications with kidney disease on October 24th 2022 at 11:27 PM . Marion was known to many, local and around the country through his time in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Beginning his career at Alcatraz and making it all the way to Sandstone Minnesota as a Warden. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy, working as a communications specialist on a submarine.

At different stages and throughout his life he enjoyed golfing with his friends at the Forest Park Golf Course, trying new restaurants, drag racing, watching Indiana University Basketball, and most of all spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his mother Ola Marie Lacy (Tipton) and his grandparents Ray and Zelda Tipton (Tredway) and he is survived by his wife of 55 years Judith Lacy (Nelson), his 2 children Deena Wickliffe (Lacy) and Christopher Lacy, his 2 grandchildren Caine Cox and Samuel Wickliffe, and his daughter in-law Patrica Lacy (Yockey). He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St Jude's Children Hospital, he and Judy's life long charity of choice. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home for their assistance during this difficult time.
