Services will be held Monday in New York for Oscar C. Keller, a former Rockford resident, who died Thursday night in Queens General Hospital, Long Island, N.Y. Cremation will follow. He had made his home in Long Island in recent years.
Mr. Keller was born near Kitchener, Canada, and came to Rockford in 1908, He lived here until the late 1930's, when he moved to Chicago. From Chicago he moved to New York.
While in Rockford, Mr. Keller was well known as a singer. For many years he was bass soloist in the First Presbyterian church quartet here. He also sang in many Mendelssohn club concerts.
Surviving are a son Ted Wolfgang Keller, of Middlebury, Vt., and two grandchildren.
