Harry Lee Daniels, Nov 25, 1902 to Jul 24, 1985, died in Arcadia, CA. In 1921 he was working at Park View Riding Academy in Kansas City, Missouri per Saddle & Bridle Magazine. In 1923 he was a head trainer at the horse stables for William P Roth's "Why Worry" farm in Woodside, CA. In 1927 he showed a horse called "Chief of Longview" of Mr's Roth's at his first Grand Championship Horse Show. In 1929 he married Emma Dorothy Langley in Chicago, IL. In 1931 they moved from CA to Houston, Texas and moved back to Pine Valley, CA in 1937. In 1937 he became the head trainer at Bellbrook Farm in Corte Madera, CA. In 1949 Harry bought "Your Host" for $20,0000 on behalf of William Goetz, the head of Universal Studios. He took him to 13 wins. Harry is buried in Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto, CA.
