Leonard C. Belt, 63, of Albany, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at his residence after a long illness. He was born in Baltimore, Md. and was the son of the late Jerome C. and Louise V. Stotler Belt. Len served in the U.S. Army from 1966 through 1968. He is the husband of Helen M. Helfrich Belt. He is the father of Leonard J. Belt (Doreen Ostrander), Teresa Jackson and Cindy Eck. He is the brother of Mary E. Carter, Linda M. Sommers, Nancy A. Prietz and Nora L. Stafford. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Cause of death: lung cancer
