Richard "Rich" George Adams, age 79, of Camp Hill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 with his family by his side. Rich was born on Friday, August 27, 1943, in Harrisburg to the late Lester M. Adams and Nanina "Nina" (Gentile) Adams.

Rich's survivors include his wife of 28 years, Rebecca "Becky" May (Mummert) Adams; his three children: Shawn Hannold and her husband, Mark, of Harrisburg; CW5 Richard "Rich" G. Adams, II and his wife, Cheryl, of Harrisburg; Mandy Fullmer and her husband, Aaron Barasch, of Harrisburg; his six grandchildren: Josh Hannold, Jordan Hannold, Tori Adams, 2nd Lt. Zack Adams, Charley Barasch, Conor Barasch; his brother, Robert "Bob" Adams and his wife, Mev, of Westly Chapel, FL; his former spouse and friend, JoAnne "Jodi" Adams of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

All are welcome to join Rich's family at his gathering of family and friends on Friday, November 18, 2022, from 10:45 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; and his virtual gathering of family and friends and service via video chat or telephone beginning at 12:15 p.m. A graveside service and burial will follow the service in Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill, where military honors will be presented by the Cumberland County Honor Guard. Rich's family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Buhrig's Gathering Place (next to the funeral home) immediately following the burial.
