Barbara Sue (Beck) Gray, age 80, of West, passed away early Saturday morning, November 5, 2022 at her residence.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West.

Barbara was born May 4, 1942 in Madera,California the daughter of Clifton and Ruth (Holderfield) Beck. She was united in marriage to Jerry Wayne Brooms on May 23, 1973 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Jerry preceded her in death on July 14, 1986. She was then united in marriage to James Leroy Gray on April 17, 2004 in Raymond, California. James preceded her in death on February 12, 2013. She was a waitress working for several businesses including Riley's Tavern in Madera, California for many years. Barbara enjoyed dancing, singing karaoke, drinking Dunkin' Donuts Coffee, camping, and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of The Clamper's, a group formed as a gold miner's organization.

Barbara is also preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Letha Hopper; brothers, Jimmie and David Beck; sisters, Jan Hogan and Wilma White; her great grandson, Emmett Lee Woodyard.

Survivors include her children, Darletta Hopper of Fresno, CA, Teresa Hopper and Billy Washkevich of Battle Mountain, NV, Tom Hopper and Karen Zavattaro of Denver, CO, Matt and Linda Brooms of Sheridan, MI, Danny Hopper of West, TX, Carrie Brooms of West, TX, Sherrie Brooms of Waco, TX, and Crystal Brooms of Huntsville, TX; her grandchildren, Chad Hopper, Roy Parker, Cody Parker, Jacquelyn Hopper, Melanie Burgess, Michelle Sanders, Crystina Mederios, Betty Sue Gould, Shelby Kay Brooms, Cheryl Gillson, Amy Rosendall, Calina Goodwin, Daniel Dillinger, Tristan Brooms, Daniel Brooms, Dale Reich Jr., Shane Reich, Dean Brooms, Sadie Brooms, Laci Foster, Mikayla Wilson, and Joey Wilson; many great grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn Taylor and her husband Albert; a brother, Tim Beck and his wife Velma; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
