Phyllis Sablotny
SPRINGFIELD - Phyllis Sablotny, 59, of Springfield died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at her home.

She was born Aug. 25, 1948, in Greenfield, the daughter of Loyal and Dorothy Jouett Range. Her father, Loyal Range, and stepfather, William Allen, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Sablotny worked for the Illinois Department of Human Services.

Surviving are two daughters, Caren Ganci of Springfield and Terri Sablotny of Springfield; two grandchildren, Kyle and Alec Ganci of Springfield; mother, Dorothy Allen; four brothers, Leslie Warren Range of Carrolton, Gary and Loyal Range, both of Greenfield, and Billy Bob Range of Jacksonville; half brother, David Range of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 530 N. Fifth St. Following cremation at Springfield Crematory, burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
