Carl Wallace McBrayer was born into this world on December 22nd, 1952, in Mesa, Arizona and returned to his Heavenly Father on August 9th, 2022, from Saratoga Springs, Utah.

Early in life Carl grew to love his faith in the LDS church, his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and the Prophet Joseph Smith. In 1970, at the age of 19, Carl ventured from home to spread his faith and love of the LDS church on a mission to England. Upon his return Carl became a lifelong teacher and student of the faith he loved so dear. His favorite pastime was reading the scriptures and books on the LDS church's teaching and history and then sharing that knowledge with family, friends, and his Sunday school class.

On April 12th, 1974, Carl married his true love, eternal partner, and best friend, Patricia Louisa Pehrson in the Los Angeles Temple for time and all eternity. The new couple knew a large family would be a blessing and eventually had seven children.

Carl is survived by his wife, Patricia, of forty-eight years, six of his seven children: Emilee, Joseph, Hyrum, Mary, Susie, and Andrew, thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Carl wasn't afraid to transcend from this world to the next. He knew he would be welcomed by the many friends and family that have gone before him but more importantly he found comfort knowing that his little girl Sarah Charlotta, who left his arms too soon in life, would be waiting for him, arms outstretched, to welcome him home, and that he too will be waiting with open arms, a warm smile, and the glow of love when it is our turn to join him for eternity.

Until then, you will always be loved and eternally missed!
