She was born in Buffalo, a daughter of Andrew and Mary Roth Hoefner. She married the late Henry Nise.
Formerly of Angola, she had come to Wellsville to live with her sister, the late Cornelia McCarty. She is survived by her brother, the Rev. C.E.F. Hoefner of New York City.
Friends may call at the Embser Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at the Immaculate Conception Church Friday. Burial in the Pinehill Cemetery in Buffalo.
