Bobbie, 74, of Otis, was called to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in Alexandria, Louisiana. She was born March 19, 1947 in Winnfield, Louisiana to the union of Lynn McCoy, Sr. and Una Mae Gilcrease McCoy. She was a graduate of Winnfield Senior High School and attended Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana. She married her loving husband of 54 years, David, on October 8, 1966. She and David loved spending time with their large family. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, and cooking for her family. She looked forward to having her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren gathered together for family meals and eagerly passed on her recipes for dumplings and banana pudding to anyone who would step up to the stove with her. She spent many past Sundays playing piano as David led music and sang in church. She worked as a nursing assistant for many years caring for residents in local nursing homes. She later worked for Provine Pictures and then as a driver delivering medical supplies to nursing facilities. More recently, she spent her days with David and "their girls," Katie and Fancy.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her parents, Lynn Sr. and Una Mae McCoy; and her brother Lynn McCoy, Jr. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her loving husband David Miller of Otis; one son, Michael Miller of Otis; four daughters, Rebecca Flynn of Phoenix, Arizona, Michelle Poston (James Anderson, Jr) of Alexandria, Louisiana, Angela Gorum (Charles "Bubba") of Otis, Louisiana, and Tonya Robertson (Joshua) of McNary, Louisiana; one sister, Barbara Hamberlin (Robert) of Boyce, Louisiana; 6 grandchildren, Ariel, Brittani, Stefani, Scotti, Kendal, and Kelsie; five great-grandchildren, Lucian, Evie, Dakota, Kiah, and R.C.; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Pallbearers who will serve include: Kendal Gorum, Scotti Poston, Mark White, Chris Hamberlin, Candy Hamberlin, and Lane Hamberlin. Honorary pallbearers include: Charles "Bubba" Gorum, Joshua Robertson, James Anderson, Jr., and Terry Hamberlin.
