Leonard, you are sorely missed. I think the comments by your grandson are especially poignant. "Watched, for as long as I could, all my Grandfather's and Dad's tools and stuff be auctioned off to people who had no idea who they were, the history, the care, the time, and the love that was shared in the simplest things like handing someone a wrench or a screw driver. My Grandfather's shop had a place for EVERYTHING and EVERYTHING had its place. Seeing strangers rummage through tool boxes and cabinets just made me want to holler "stop touching their stuff!" Done and over. Scattered to wind like they were never here. I know it's just stuff, but when you see a saw, a hammer, a wrench and you can remember a specific memory associated with it and the next thing you know a stranger is taking it home-that's hard. Everyone can always say "you'll have the memories", but isn't it funny how until you see something or can touch it THEN that specific memory comes around. And when that item is gone so is that memory. It's like a piece of you dies and goes with it." Rest in peace, "Sister" aka Ruth Annette
