Thomas J. Abbe, 54, passed away at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. Mr. Abbe was born on Jan. 21, 1953, in Corsicana to Thomas Ray Abbe and Charlene Elizabeth Radney Abbe. He was a supervisor for TXU. He is survived by his wife, Karen Abbe of Blooming Grove; son, T. J. Abbe of Blooming Grove; two daughters, Lara Ellis and her husband Dustin of Palestine and Sarah Abbe of Blooming Grove; mother, Charlene and her husband Henry Owen of Malakoff; in-laws, Glen and Jesslyn Warren of Trinidad; brother, Chris Abbe of Grand Saline; sister, Teresa Tumlinson of Pea Ridge, Ark.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steve and Mitzy Warren of Grand Prairie; and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Abbe officiating. Burial will be in the Dresden Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony McMillan, Billy Robinson, David Dowd, Oscar Hernandez, Albert Martinez and Wes Hendrix. Arrangements by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home, Corsicana.
