From The News, Frederick, Maryland, Tuesday, May 2, 1922:
Mrs. Lucinda Catherine Culler, widow of John Harmon Culler died suddenly at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Harry Pennell, of Jefferson, Tuesday morning, May 2, at 6:45 o'clock. She had been an invalid for some years and for the past two weeks had been ill, but her condition was not alarming, and her sudden death came as a surprise and shock. She was aged 82 years, 3 months and 18 days.
Surviving are the following children; Mrs. Annie V. Horine, of Jefferson; Mrs. Ella M. Stockman, of near Jefferson; John W. Culler, of near Church Hill; Jacob A. Culler, of near Jefferson; Rev. Silas H. Culler, Seven Valleys, near York, Pennsylvania, and Dorsey S. Culler, of Jefferson. The following brothers and sisters survive; Morgan Kefauver, of Middletown; W. Scott Kefauver, of Braddock Heights; Oliver Kefauver, of near Middletown; Millard Kefauver, of Braddock; Robert Kefauver, near Middletown; Mrs. Amanda Rudy, of Middletown; Mrs. Olivia Koogle, of Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Charles Routzahn, of Hagerstown. Funeral in the Reformed Church, at Jefferson, on Thursday, May 4, at 2 p.m., with services conducted by Rev. Dr. G. A. Snyder, of Middletown. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery. M. R. Etchison and Soon are the undertakers.
