Graveside services for Tommy Davis will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Colfax Cemetery with Pastor Shelby Davidson officiating.

Thomas Ray Davis was born May 10, 1944 in Paris, Texas. He had been a resident of Canton for 26 years, formerly living in Garland. He worked for Ingersoll Rand for 25 years, building water drilling equipment. He was a jack of all trades and a master of none. He was a talented mechanic and worked on everything including race cars, boats, motorcycles, dune buggies, and pulling tractors.

Tommy passed away at the age of 78 on November 2, 2022 in Kemp. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas Davis and Loray Nancy Harris Davis; sister, Patsy Jenkins; and brother, Carol Davis.

Survivors include her wife of 60 years, Barbara Davis of Canton; four children, Chrystal Davis of Garland, Tommy Davis, Jr. (Lisa) of Ben Wheeler, Mike Davis of Canton, and Kevin Davis (Mary) of Garland; three brothers, Jimmy Davis, Jody Davis, and Bill Davis; three grandsons, Devon Davis, Dakota Davis, and Hunter Davis; and one great-grandson, Aaron Davis.
