Helen M. Bedtelyon (March 14, 1946 – November 1, 2022) passed peacefully on November 1, 2022. Helen was residing at 1st Sunshine Park of Kenmore at the time of her death.

Helen was born in West Branch, Michigan to Louie and Leora Bedtelyon. She lived there until the family moved to Bay City, Michigan. Helen graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in English and History. She spent her career teaching high school English, first in East Tawas and then at John Glenn High School in Bay City and Lindbergh High School in Renton, Washington. She is pre-deceased by her parents and brother, Doug. Her sister, Millie Jackson, lives in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
