Hilton NY – Mary M. Prosser, 82, died Friday, October 28, 2022. Born in Topeka, Kansas in 1940, she was the sister of Germaine Henry and daughter of the late Joseph and Florentine Andes. Mary grew up in Topeka and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1958.

Mary wed Kenneth F. Prosser Jr. of Topeka Kansas in 1960 and over the next 13 years had four sons, Kenneth F. III, Douglas, Michael, and Christopher. The family lived in Topeka, Kansas and then moved to Denver, Colorado before Mary and Ken eventually retired in the Rochester area.

Mary had a lengthy and successful career as a Medical Transcriptionist at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She enjoyed listening and playing music, reading and was a prolific sketch artist, frequently sharing her work among family members.

Mary is survived by her sister Germaine Henry, her four sons, nine grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Kenneth and Mary remained married up until a few years prior to his passing in 2006.

The Family would like to extend sincerest thanks to her many compassionate caregivers at Hilton East and Rochester General Hospital during her recent illness.
