GALESBURG - Beulah M. Benson, 99, a resident of The Kensington, 311 E. Simmons St., died at 12:20 p.m. Friday (Dec. 31, 1999) in Seminary Manor, 2345 N. Seminary St.
She was born Sept. 26, 1900, in Knoxville, the daughter of David H. and Georgia F. Missen Funk.
She married William G. Benson on July 18, 1930, in Nashua, Iowa. He died July 21, 1987.
Surviving are one son, Richard W. Benson, Bellevue, Wash., two nephews, one grandniece, and two grandnephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters.
She was a homemaker.
She attended First Presbyterian Church.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Knoxville Cemetery, with the Rev. David Seitz officiating. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel, Galesburg.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
