Mrs. White is survived by five grandchildren: Anne Marie (Chris) Kabes, Mary (Aaron) Couture, Julia (Mitch) Laursen, Jeanette Rose (Alec Brewer), Suzanne (Zach) Eriksen, and four great-grandchildren.
She worked for the U.S. Federal Civil Service for many years and retired as the public affairs officer for the Omaha District of the Army Corps of Engineers. A former resident of Riverside Lakes in Waterloo, Mrs. White most recently lived on the campus of All Saints Episcopal Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church or to the Czech and Slovak Educational Center and Cultural Museum in LaVista.
