Henry E. Anderson, age 91, resident of Edmore, ND, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at the Park River Good Samaritan Center in Park River, ND.

Henry Ernest Anderson was born February 28, 1913, at Edmore, the son of Carl A. and Alma V. (Hedin) Anderson. He was raised on the family farm and educated in Newland Township, near Edmore. He lived in the Edmore area all of his life. When he was young, he worked for several farmers in the area. In the early 1940's, Henry started farming the home farm. He lived and farmed there until his retirement, when he moved into the Edmore Rest Home, where he lived until becoming ill. He was in Langdon for a short time before entering the Park River Good Samaritan Center. He was a lifetime member of St. Hans Lutheran Church. Henry made many latch hooks and made yard ornaments as a hobby. He served on several elevator and township boards.

Henry leaves behind a brother, Reynold "R.O.' (Verona) Anderson, and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Ruth Myrvik, Olga Martinson & Rose Anderson; and 2 brothers, Victor Anderson & Roy Anderson.

Henry's Funeral Service will be held at Living Word Free Lutheran Church of Edmore, ND, on Friday, May 21, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in St. Ansgar Lutheran Cemetery, rural Edmore.
