Paul loved the Lord, going to church at Mt. Lebanon Baptist and listening to Christian music. His favorite Bible verse was II Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and of sound mind." He loved to travel, enjoyed riding motorcycles, being a member of the NRA and collecting guns and knives. He never missed an NHRA drag race and he loved watching the cooking channel, especially Guy Fieri who was his favorite cooking host.
He was an ASE certified Automotive Technician and quite the entrepreneur owning his own gas station, towing business, and repair station. For the last 11 years, he has been a Virginia State Inspector at Tommy's Towing in Culpeper, VA. In his younger days, he also loved drag racing in his heavily modified 1969 Chevelle.
He is survived by his wife, Coleen Flynn; daughter, Crystal Burton and her husband, Kevin Burton, son Paul J. (PJ) Flynn and his wife, Karen Flynn; and five grandchildren Hannah Burton, Micah Burton, Leah Burton, Emma Burton, and Easton Flynn.
