Mrs. Artie M. Dalton, 65 years old, died Saturday morning in Dayton after an illness of two years. She had lived on Rural Route 2, Eaton.

Surviving are the husband, Lee; two daughters, Mrs. Albert Showalter, Richmond and Mrs. Elmer Dalton, Ivanhoe, Va; two sons, Sherman, Richmond, and Herman, Rural Route 1, Eaton; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Dalton, Hillsville, Va, and Mrs. Dolly Gregory, Pulaski, Va; four brothers, Gordon Jennings, Rural Route 2, Eaton and Chester, McKinley and Charles Jennings, all of Hillsville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dalton were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Barnes Funeral home in Eaton. Rev. R.P. Coad of the St. Paul Methodist church was in charge. Burial was in Mound Hill cemetery.
