Sara M. Morgan, 97, of Salem Township, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008. She was born March 30, 1911, in Indiana, Pa., daughter of the late Hugh and Hazel (Spicher) Peddicord. Sara retired as a restaurant manager for the former Webster Hall in Oakland, Pittsburgh. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Lyndell, Murray and Lewis Peddicord. Sara is survived by her sisters, Virginia Novak and Patty Stefancic, both of Geneva, Ohio, and Harriet Emerick, of Texas; a brother, Harold Morgan, of Wilkins Township; and nieces and nephews. By the family's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, in Faith United Methodist Church, 305 Freeport St., Delmont, 724-468-0040, with the Rev. James R. Wagner presiding. Arrangements by BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, Delmont. Memorial donation may be made to the church.
