Leroy I. "Roy" Teichmann 1932 - 2008 Lawrence

Funeral services for Leroy I. "Roy" Teichmann, 75, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Teichmann died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Stormont-Vail Regional Medical Center in Topeka.
Mr Teichmann was a member Of Calvary Temple Assembly Of God,
and served on the board of deacons for several years.
Mr. Teichmann was born May 24, 1932, in Atchison, the son of Adolph and Hazel Coffey Teichmann.
Mr. Teichmann served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Manor Baking Co. and formerly delivered milk for All-Star Dairy for 30 years. He worked for Kansas University Facilities Operations for 15 years.
He married Linda Hundley on May 17, 1959, in Atchison. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Linda Diane Falley and husband Rick, and Debbie Teichmann, both of Lawrence; a son, Johnnie and wife Julie, Lawrence; a brother, Raymond, Lawrence; two sisters, Audrey Stanton, Hemet, Calif., and Connie Chalfant, Easton; and 10 grandchildren.
Mr. Teichmann was preceded in death by a son, David Leroy.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Cottonwood Inc., sent in care of the mortuary.
