Monica Eggers, 51, of Palo, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at Oldorf Hospice House, Hiawatha. Celebration of Life: 2-6 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at the Palo Community Center. Monica generously donated her body to Des Moines University. Burial will take place at a later date.
Survivors include her beloved children, ______ (_____) Wellik, ______ Eggers, and ______ Eggers, all of Palo; parents, ______ "______" and ______ Alderson of Cedar Rapids; brother, ______ (______) Alderson of Fairfax; niece, ______; former spouse, _____ Eggers of Cedar Rapids; and many extended family members and friends.
Monica Maureen Alderson was born September 21, 1966, to Gerald and Connie (Sheppard) Alderson, in Cedar Rapids. She graduated from Washington High School in 1985.
Monica was preceded in death by her grandparents.
