Mrs. Charlotte M. Eyler, 63, wife of Guy F. Eyler of Rt. 4 Waynesboro, died at 1 p.m. Monday at the Waynesboro Hospital. She had been in failing health for a number of years and was admitted to the hospital on June 29 after suffering a stroke.

She was born at Blue Ridge Summit (Waynesboro), the daughter of William F. and Mary E. Fitz Benchoff. Most of her life was spent in the Blue Ridge Summit aera.

She and her husband were married in October 1928 and had lived at the Rt. 4 Waynesboro residence for the past four years. Mrs. Eyler was a member the Waynesboro Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jack Harr of Hagerstown; four sons, Guy E. Eyler of Penns Grove, N.J.; William T. Eyler; John F. Eyler and Ronald E. Eyler, all of Rt. 5, Waynesboro. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren; a brother: Bruce Benchoff of Rt 6, Waynesboro; and three sisters: Mrs. Rudy Marti of Harvey Cedars, N.J.; Mrs. Arthur Schull of Rt. 5, Waynesboro and Mrs. Joseph Walters of Chambersburg.

The funeral will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, the Rev. Dr. Bruce McDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Fountaindale Cemetery.
