Dorothy Skilbred Carlson of Springfield passed away Monday, September 19th at the age of 94. She was born in Eugene to Christopher and Clara Haukebo Skilbred.
Dorothy and her husband, George, were active life-long members of Springfield Lutheran Church. They spent two years with the Department of Defense in Japan and traveled all over the world.
Dorothy was a lifelong sports enthusiast having played on a state softball team that played in the Nationals in Portland 1949.
Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother, Kermit; her husband George; a son Cory; and a grandson Charlie.
She is survived by her daughter, Jordi; and granddaughter, Capri; and four nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held November 5, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Springfield Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church.
