He was preceded in death by his wife in 1952. Father of Charles Albert Tracy of Davis; Mrs. Agnes Bingaman of Novato; Mrs. Jean Pack of Burney; and Virginia Barisdale of Rio Dell; and the late William Tracy Jr. who preceded him in death in 1950. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

He was a native of Missoula, Montana, aged 88. In his early life he was a cowboy, later coming to California and residing in Rio Dell, Eureka, Myers Flat and Healdsburg. Mr. Tracy was a member of the Carpenter Union Local 1040 of Eureka, the Phillipsville Grange, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 6, at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, Eureka, under the auspices of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
