WALTERS, DOROTHY VIRGINIA "JENNI" (SILLS) was born in Alma, Texas, on June 8, 1923, to the parentage of Thomas Jefferson Sills and Myra Helena (Allen) Sills. She was the fifth of eight children. She married Ralph J. Walters on December 4, 1942. They raised three children and were devoted to each other until his passing in January of 1987. Jenni retired from Texas Instruments after 25 years of dedicated service. She was an enthusiastic member of Casa View Baptist Church. Jenni was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Denny Walters; brothers, Fletcher, Aubrey and Allen Sills; and sisters, Lucille Tripp and Libby Nichols. She leaves to cherish her memories; son, Larry Walters and his wife, Nancy; daughter, Kelli Hlavenka and her husband, David; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, MaryAnn Walters; sisters, Betty Clark and Marion Jones; and numerous other relatives and friends. Jenni passed away Monday, January 28, 2008, in Mesquite, Texas. She is now the heavenly angel we all knew her to be on earth. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 1:00 pm Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel with Dr. Karl Tingle officiating. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park.
