Amanda Frances Garner, age 72, of Fate, TX, passed away October 16, 2022. She was born September 8, 1950, in Newport News, VA, to Frances Virginia (Moore) and William Homer Brown, Jr. Amanda was a strong and determined woman who loved life. She met and married, handsome air force guy Mike Garner. They moved to Texas, where they raised two very successful daughters. Amanda was extremely loyal to her country and job at Raytheon where she met many friends along the way. She received several achievement awards for her work in the C3I Corporate Supply Chain and received her Six Sigma Specialist Qualification in 2002. Her children and her grandchildren were life! She will be dearly missed and her kindness will forever be remembered.

Amanda is survived by her daughters: Amy Conner and husband Kevin and Natalie Harper; grandchildren: Wyatt, Cody, and Lydia; brother: William "Bill" Homer Brown III and wife Susan. She was preceded in death by her husband: Mike Garner; parents: Frances and William Brown; and son-in-law: Ron Harper.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location. Interment will follow in Wilson Chapel Cemetery in Kaufman, TX. A gathering of family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service from 10:00am to 11:00am at The Gathering at Rest Haven Funeral Home-Rockwall location.
