Funeral services will held at Platts Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Faircloth and the Rev. Ray Reynolds officiating.
Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Golden was born in Augusta in 1939, the only child of Harold and Jessie Johnson. She worked with the Civil Service at Fort Gordon for 35 years, while also owning and operating her own tax service. She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons; Mike Golden (Marilyn), Donald Golden (Linda) and Larry Golden (Lisa), her daughters; Jeanie Stewart (Keith), Rhonda McKinney and Donna Wagoner (Brad), in addition to 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren. In January, her first two great great grandchildren will join the family.
In addition to her husband, Carlton, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald, a granddaughter, Jennifer Ressler and a daughter in law, Lynn.
