Mother: Sara (Sallie) Whitlock
"Marriage bond, signed by William Richeson as Jane's surety and the minister performing the marriage was the Rev. Spilake Woolford."
"In Caroline County, because of the development of the Military reservation ( Camp A.P. Hill) during the second World War, numerous family cemeteries and private burial grounds were disinterred, removed and reburied (unmarked grave) in other locations. This is what happened to Jane Ann Madison Pavy and she is now buried (unmarked grave) in Lakewood Cemetery in the same section as her husband. From what I could ascertain from the Manns Funeral Home at Bowling Green, they are very likely both buried in the one grave which is marked with his marker." (information from a letter written by Mrs. Henry J. Jefferies (Mary Barlow Banks) 1/27/1976)
