Alice Clark, age 96 passed away in Clovis on October 26, 2016. Alice was born to Archie and Lillie Fry in Chivington, Colorado on May 28, 1920.
There were 14 children in the family, four boys and 10 girls. The family moved to California when she was four. She attended Kingsburg schools and graduated from Kingsburg High school. Alice met her husband Robert at her sister Helen's home in January and they were married on May 2, 1942.
Robert was a farmer and Alice was a Homemaker.
Alice had many talents. She was a wonderful cook and baker, seamstress, gardener (flowers and vegies). She also painted both oils and watercolor. She enjoyed quilting by hand and embroidering. Her family and friends have some wonderful treasures. Alice was a member of the Riverbend Church for 70 years. She taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She enjoyed providing flowers from her yard for Sunday morning services. She also prepared for communion for many years.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband Robert of forty-one years and her son Clifford.
She is survived by her daughter Karol Olson, daughter Helen Bogard and her husband Jerry and their son Jason and his wife Danielle, great grand-children Alison, Sawyer, Dana and Charles, daughter- in-law Mary Clark and grandson Matthew and his wife Tina and sons Chris, Saul and Nick, grandson Seth and granddaughter Nileen She is also survived by her sisters Elise Comfort, Ruth Alcorn, Georgia Montgomery and brother Marvin Fry, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Kingsburg Community Church, 1590 Smith St, Kingsburg, CA 93631 on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 11:00 am.
