Genevieve Faye Anderson Clark, 87, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022. She was born October 25, 1934 in Douglas, GA to the late W. Guy Anderson and Willa Mae Hogan Anderson.
She earned a degree from Hardbarger Buisiness College and retired as a secretary with WakeMed after 20 years of service.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, October 17, 2022 at Longview Baptist Church, 2308 New Hope Road, Raleigh. Burial will follow at Central Baptist Church Cemetery, 11109 Poole Road, Wendell.
The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the church.
She is survived by her daughters: Pam Clark Wilder (Danny); Cindy Clark Murray, Rhonda Clark; grandchildren: Nathan Wilder (Melissa) Kevin Wilder (Katherine, Jordan Murray, Jake Murray; great-grandchildren: Karleigh Wilder, Lillie Wilder, Willow Wilder; sisters: June Byrd, Barbara McCurdy, Patricia Quinn (Lee Penny).
In addition to her parents, Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Vance Clark sister, Wanda Williams and her husband, David, brother-in-laws: DW Byrd, Dave McCurdy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Longview Baptist Church Building Fund.
