Evelyn Marie Adams
Evelyn Marie Adams passed away October 4, 2022. Evelyn was born on August 27, 1930 to Theresa Toepfer and John Zolkoske. The oldest of five siblings, she grew up in Mehama and Stayton, graduating from Stayton High School in 1948. She married Ray Adams in 1950 and they moved to Eugene in 1957. Together, they raised their family in the same home in the River Road area for nearly 60 years.
Evelyn was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed hosting gatherings with family. She was a talented writer, piano player, baker and photographer. Her joy, talent, love and creativity will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Ray and son Daniel.
She is survived by her four siblings; her children, Steve (Becky), Jerry (Carolyn), Doug (Cindy), Don (Robin), Nancy (Russ), and Beverly (Kevin) as well as her 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 18th, 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1150 Maxwell Rd, Eugene, OR. Burial with her husband and son at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
