Ashby Funeral Home online obituary: Bertalynn Burnett, age 80, of Heber Springs, formerly of Benton; passed away Saturday February 2, 2008. She was born February 5, 1927 in Des Arc, Arkansas to the late William and Eunice McArthur. Mrs. Burnett was a homemaker and a member of Lakeshore Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, reading, baking and visiting with friends. Mrs. Burnett was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Burnett; three brothers; four sisters and one granddaughter.
She is survived by two sons, Randy Gray and wife Anita of Illinois and Richard Gray and wife Jamie of Gravel Ridge; two daughters, Betty Edds and husband Lee of Katy, Texas and Beverly Davis and husband Jerry Don of Heber Springs; sister, Maxine Constantine of Benton; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday February 5, 2008 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday February 6, 2008 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Fowler Cemetery in Paron. Bro. Daniel Haygood will be officiating. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Online guest registration at www.ashbyfuneralhome.com.
