Marilyn Sue Drummond, 79, of Goshen, passed away at her daughter's home in Curtis, Michigan after a three months illness.
She was born February 1, 1943, in Goshen to Thomas Kenton and Anne (Ebersole) Garman.
On April 29, 1967, she married Thomas E Drummond.
He survives along with two children, Andrew (Angela) Drummond of Middlebury and Michelle (Joseph) Smithson of Curtis, Michigan; five grandchildren, Adrian, Allison and Ava Drummond and Lincoln (Jamie) and Cody ( Autumn) Maier; a great-grandson, Eastyn Maier and a sister, Nancy (Ronald) Corl of Columbus, Ohio.
She graduated from Goshen High School in 1961 and attended the University of Hawaii for two years. Marilyn worked as a bookkeeper at Sash and Door, her husband's business, R & K Service and the Goshen License Branch.
Marilyn was a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deaconess and longtime treasurer of the church's foundation.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 5 p.m. funeral service will follow with Pastor Ken Weaver officiating.
Cremation will follow the service and burial will be at a later date in Violett Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to First Presbyterian Church, Goshen Cancer Center or Goshen Hospital for the baby blanket program.
