Gwendolyn Warren was born Thursday, August 1, 1957 to Calvin and Lula Sullivan in Silsbee, Texas.
Gwen accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the age of eight at First Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Sampson Booker.
She attended school in Silsbee, Texas and graduated from Silsbee High School in 1975. She united in marriage to Lynwood Warren in 1983 and to this union three children were born.
Gwen worked as activity director for several surrounding nursing homes. She had a love for all senior citizens and truly enjoyed working with them. She retired in 2012. She continued working part time at Kountze Mini Storage and also volunteered in Meals on Wheels where she met and visited with the seniors.
Gwen was always outgoing, never met a stranger and enjoyed traveling, all sports and spending time with family and her many grandchildren. She was the life of the party.
Gwen was preceded in death by her parents Calvin and Lula Sullivan, two brothers Calvin Sullivan Jr and John Sullivan, son Lynwood Warren Jr and daughter in law Heather Warren.
