Funeral service for Mrs. Emily Delura Hogue, 91, where held Monday morning in the Carroll and Lehr memory chapel in Athens, with the Reverend Walter Lynn Zimmerman and the Reverend Randy Fitzgerald officiating.

Burial was in the Payne Cemetery. Pall bearers were Harry Wayne Hogue, Glenn Hogue, Gary Hogue, Billy Harris, Joel Harris and Johnny Hogue, all grandsons.

Mrs. Hogue passed away Saturday morning in an Athens convalescents home after a lenghty illness. Born in Randolph County, Alabama to Billy Culpepper and Emily Josephine East Culpepper. She had lived in Athens since 1918 and was a member of the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by five sons, Bunard Hogue and Marlin Hogue both of Athens, J.C., Clifton and Haskell Hogue, all of Dallas, four daughters, Mrs. Eugene Harris, Mrs Willie B. Lee, Mrs Richard Benge, all of Athens and Mrs. Bulah Dunlap of Dallas, a sister, Mrs Thomas Reeves of Dallas, and twenty-two grandchildren and thirty-nine greatgrandchildren.
