Donna Marie Fowler Hansen, 79, passed away peacefully January 5, 2008 at home in Bountiful, Utah surrounded by her family after a long, courageous battle with Sarcoidosis. She was born September 22, 1928 "just as the sun was coming up" in Payson, Utah to James Talbert and Emma Price Burraston Fowler. She married Clyde Earl Hansen, October 26, 1948 in Farmington, Utah. They made their marriage eternal October 27, 1954 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She retired after 28 years as a dental assistant for Drs. Reed and James Hartvigsen. Donna devoted her life to serving her family and church. She loved writing, directing and performing in roadshows and plays. She enjoyed camping with the Young Women and her family. She and her husband spent many memorable years RVing with friends. She held many church callings including ward and stake Relief Society, Young Women, camp director, temple ordinance worker, and full time missionary serving with her husband in the Arkansas Little Rock and Nauvoo Missions. Her family will miss her feisty wit, helping her make Christmas candy, her delicious meals, her handmade clothes and costumes, and her listening ear. Clyde will miss her companionship, they were rarely apart. Donna is survived by her husband of nearly 60 years; children, Patricia (Tom) Clark, Manti; Julie (Tonga) Vanisi, Bountiful; Clyde Dean (Linda), West Jordan; Debra (Mitch) Hill, Kaysville; and Kristen Perez, Bountiful; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren with two more on the way; sister, Emma Jean Gadd; and brother, Del Roy Fowler.
