Rachel B. Scott, age 94, died October 7, 2022, in Murfreesboro, TN. Born November 9, 1927, in Mt. Pleasant, TN to Mary and Will Brown.
She is preceded in death by husband, Joe D. Scott; daughter, Pamela Smith; brothers, Lester, Bill, Charlie and Joe; sisters, Artie, Alice, Ruth and Mildred.
She is survived by daughters, Bernice (Buddy) Pate, Murfreesboro, TN; and Betty Raymer, Franklin, TN, beloved Son-in-Law, Charles Raymer; grandchildren, Whitney Smith, Melissa Larson, Matthew Raymer; Great Grandchildren, Lara Larson, Macy Larson; and Joseph Raymer.
Rachel had lived the last 2 ½ years at Stones River Assisted Living in Murfreesboro, TN. She enjoyed her flowers, growing tomatoes, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Visitation with family will be from 9-12 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2022, with services to follow at Ellis Funeral Home, Nashville, TN. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
